NCIC Annual Banquet
November 11 @ 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm$20.00 - $200.00
As a community, we are facing a most difficult period in our collective histories at home and abroad. The rising tide of Islamophobia and hatred towards Islam and Muslims has reached a tipping point.
We have no other choice left than to effectively organize and empower the community to fight this tide. We need to rapidly become far more engaged in the civil society, and build a massive and diverse civil and human rights coalition that is based on indivisible social justice and dignity for all. The time to organize is now and the responsibility is on all of us.
Towards this end, the Northern California Islamic Council (NCIC) is hosting a Supporters’ Dinner on Saturday, November 11, at the MCA, Santa Clara.
I call upon your institution, mosque and center to partner with NCIC and use it as a collective vehicle for empowering and defending the community in these difficult times.
